The combined cassette deck and CD player with USB recording capabilities features a microphone jack with echo function for karaoke. It can record from CDs, cassette tapes, and external devices to USB flash drives as MP3 files. Additionally, it can record CDs, MP3 files on USB flash drives, and external input devices to cassette tapes. The recorded files are automatically saved to folders on the USB flash drives based on the source (CD, LINE, or TAPE), allowing for easy digital to analog conversion without the need for a computer.

The unit includes a built-in mic input jack on the front panel, allowing for standalone mic recording as well as the ability to mix the mic signal during playback and recording of CDs, cassettes, and USB flash drives. The echo effect can be added to the mic sound, with the option to set the effect to two levels or turn it off using the front panel switch, making it perfect for karaoke enjoyment when paired with a mic.

The cassette deck is designed with a two-head one-way system for recording and playback, supporting normal, chrome, and metal (playback only) cassette tape formulations. It offers key functionalities such as pitch control with a +/-10% adjustment range, as well as timer recording and playback.

The CD player is capable of playing audio CDs as well as CD-R/RW discs containing MP3 files, displaying information such as ID3 tags and file names during MP3 playback. Various playback modes, including program, shuffle, and repeat (one track, all tracks, or program), are available.

In addition, the unit supports USB recording and playback, allowing for repeat playback in conjunction with continuous, shuffle, and program modes. The synchronized start function automatically begins playback of the sound source (CD or TAPE) for simplified recording to USB flash drives.
