The TEAC TN-4D-SE is a classic direct drive turntable that delivers crisp and clear sound with its knife-edge tonearm bearings. It features an elegant and low-profile design, made possible by a newly-developed brushless DC servo motor.

The turntable uses a sleek brushless DC motor, which provides crystal-locked speed accuracy. This motor is regulated by a computer-controlled feedback circuit, resulting in low wow-and-flutter levels. This is particularly impressive for a direct drive turntable, especially one with such a stylish and low-profile design.

The tonearm of the TN-4D-SE uses a knife-edge pivot-point bearing. Unlike tonearms with conventional bearings, this design utilizes any fine vertical movements to enhance the delivery of dynamic sound with excellent resolution.

The turntable comes with a highly regarded Oyster MM cartridge from SUMIKO, a legendary American manufacturer. The Oyster cartridge ensures a powerful soundstage, regardless of the type of music you choose to play.

Additionally, the TN-4D-SE includes a built-in PHONO EQ amplifier, allowing you to directly connect the turntable to the line-level inputs of your existing hi-fi system.

To enhance performance, the turntable is equipped with insulating feet. These feet consist of a machined aluminum shell topped with a rubber cushion, securely fixed to the high-density MDF plinth.

Moreover, the TN-4D-SE supports both 33-⅓ and 45 rpm for LP and EP records. Every detail of this turntable, even down to the rotary control for start-up and speed selection, is crafted with precision using machined aluminum, showcasing our commitment to quality engineering.
